How tokens work

Passengers pay for lifts with tokens, bought in bundles with MoMo in the app. Tokens are a Lift service credit: only Lift accepts them, and they never turn back into cash. They don't expire while your account is active.

What a lift costs: a 5-token base plus about 2 tokens per km you share the car. The app shows the cost before you request.

When you're charged: the cost is held when your request is accepted. You're charged when you confirm you've arrived (or 2 hours after the drop-off if you don't dispute it), for the lower of the planned and the actual distance — never more than you were shown. The rest of the hold comes back.

Fees: a no-show costs 5 tokens, and cancelling late costs 5. Cancelling is free once your driver is running late.
