Driving with Lift and earning points

What you need: your Ghana Card, driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance and roadworthy, and a MoMo wallet in your own name. Lift checks each document; approval usually takes a day. Keep them in date to keep driving.

What you earn: 10 points per trip, plus 1 per km, plus 5 for each extra passenger on the journey. A 5★ rating adds 10, a 4★ adds 5, and every 10 trips adds 30. Points arrive when the passenger confirms the trip.

Taking them out: as MoMo cash, sent at once, or as fuel loaded onto your TomCard within 24 hours (working days). Your first cash-out is checked by our team within one working day.

Protected payouts: every cash-out needs your PIN and a code sent to your MoMo number, and goes only to the wallet in your name. A new payout number takes 48 hours to apply, and you're told on your old number. Someone holding your phone cannot take your rewards.

Never take cash from passengers: Lift is cashless.
