Driver documents and renewals

To be approved: your Ghana Card must be verified, and Lift checks your driving licence, your vehicle registration and a photo of the car. It usually takes a day.

To publish journeys: your insurance and roadworthy certificates must also be on file and in date. You can add these two later, and ride as a passenger until they're in.

See where you stand: Profile → Your documents shows each document's status and expiry date. If one isn't accepted, it says why.

Renewing: tap Update next to the document, take a new photo, add the details and tap Send for checking. Your licence, insurance and roadworthy each have an expiry date, and the app warns you as it gets close.

If one runs out: you can't publish journeys until the new one has been checked and approved.
